The Tecnomar for Lamborghini LY 63: A New Extreme Crossover between Cars and Boats

The crossover between performance cars and high-end boats is not uncommon. Both represent a perfect blend of style and functionality, and both require cutting-edge technology and powerful engines. One of the most recent examples of this crossover is the collaboration between The Italian Sea Group and Lamborghini, which has resulted in the creation of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini LY 63.

The name “LY 63” refers to Lamborghini’s founding year, 1963, and the boat’s length of 63 feet. Only 63 of these boats will be produced, and UFC fighter Conor McGregor has already purchased the 12th of the limited edition series.

The boat’s design takes inspiration from Lamborghini’s iconic car designs, with the Sián FKP 37 hybrid and Marcello Gandini-designed classics like the Miura and Countach. The interior features hexagonal shapes and Y-motifs, with a rakish hardtop inspired by Lamborghini’s current range of roadsters.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini yacht is available in three configurations. The “Lounge Version” is an open space concept with lounge sofas, wardrobes, and a private bathroom for the owner. The “One Cabin Version” has a king-size bed obtained from the bow sofa and a large open space with a dedicated owner bathroom. The “Two Cabin Version” has two independent cabins, with a king-size bed in the master cabin and two single beds in the guest cabin that can be joined to form a single king-size bed.

The boat’s colors and materials are customizable through Lamborghini’s personalization program, called Ad Personam. The boat’s extensive options list includes an underwater light, radar, special paint, bulwarks windscreen, post aft awning, exterior bar, backlighting for the boat name, carbon-look steering wheel, electric external tables, custom embroidery, and a stern thruster.

The Tecnomar’s designers used as much carbon fiber as possible in the structure to keep the boat’s maximum weight at 24 tons. The boat features not one, but two 24-liter MAN V-12 twin-turbo diesel engines. Each engine is capable of producing 2000 horsepower, allowing the boat to reach a top speed of 60 knots, which is the highest power output in the market. The engines are fired up via a button start, with one button for each engine, taken straight from Lamborghini.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini yacht is priced at €3,000,000.
