Surefire Resources Victory Bore Vanadium Project Collaboration

Surefire Resources, SRN, Snowden Optiro, Vanadium, Western Australia

Surefire Resources (ASX: SRN) is poised for significant strides as it enlists the expertise of Snowden Optiro to lead the pre-feasibility study (PFS) for its flagship Victory Bore deposit situated in Western Australia. This strategic collaboration follows closely on the heels of the company’s memorandum-of-understanding with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, outlining downstream processing of magnetite concentrate.

Steering Forward with Experienced Hands

Surefire Resources is embarking on a transformative journey by tapping into the wealth of experience brought forth by Snowden Optiro. This Tier 1 international geological and mining consulting group boasts over 35 years of expertise in the Australian and international mineral resources domain. As the pre-feasibility study unfolds, Snowden Optiro’s insights will prove invaluable in shaping the development trajectory of Victory Bore.

Diverse Scope of PFS Endeavors

The pre-feasibility study spearheaded by Snowden Optiro encompasses a multifaceted spectrum of tasks. In relation to mine planning, the consultants are tasked with modelling preparation, equipment selection, pit optimisation and design, waste dump design, life-of-mine projections, and haulage estimates. Their purview extends to mining cost estimates, encompassing contractor cost estimates, development pricing, and cost modelling. At the study’s culmination, Snowden Optiro will furnish a comprehensive mining report that seamlessly integrates with the overall pre-feasibility study framework.

Unlocking Value through Strategic Alliances

Simultaneously, Surefire Resources is charting a strategic pathway to maximise the value of the Victory Bore project, underscored by the MOU with Saudi Arabia. This collaboration outlines a comprehensive strategy for the establishment of a cost-efficient mine and benefaction plant at the Victory Bore site. The resultant concentrate will be transported to Geraldton’s port for shipment to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Here, downstream processing will give rise to high-value vanadium pentoxide, vanadium electrolyte, ferro-vanadium, as well as pig iron and ferro-titanium by-products.

Victory Bore’s Potential Unveiled

Victory Bore’s stature is enhanced by its substantial JORC resource of 321 million tonnes. As the project advances, Surefire Resources is poised to leverage this resource base and collaborate with industry leaders to unravel its latent potential.
